Not what I was expecting...

First off I would like to throw out a huge THANK YOU to Evan and Nick. With out these two guys, it would have been a really bad day...

Today marked the start of the build. It started with Evan and I picking up a few things from Pep Boys and Lowes. We make it to the car and im almost speechless. There was no way in Hell that the Falcon was going to be moving on its own today. The battery was beyond dead, all four tires are shot and all the fluids are gone.













After a few good trys to push the car, I called Nick up and he came over with his truck and a strap and we pulled it out.








We took it nice and slow pulling it to the drive way ( we didnt take it out onto public roads ) To go just under a half mile, took us about 30 minutes. We had people stopping and staring at us giving thumbs up and even a few mean muggers.

After we pushed it into the drive it was time to really take a good look at her and make a list of what NEEDS to happen. Number 1. new tires.

The wheels are still in good shape, no rolled edges or broken metal. So this will still worke ( with new tires ) untill i get a set of Mags for her.




After we got the placed in the driveway, we took the hood off and started cleaning the engine bay and sanding the body surface rust then sealing the sanded spots.









this hose just poped off when I brushed against it, haha.


Evan was in charge of all the sanding.

After Evan was done sanding, it was time to cover all the sanded areas with some auto primer.









After a long day day it was time to clean up the tools, pack up and head home.

We placed the hood on the car and headed home with a really good idea of what needs to happen to make the road worthy.






Next weekend we will finish up the little out side things and start clearing out the interior.
